Keep Planned Parenthood out of Cumberland County Public Schools!
Thankfully, since the Center for Medical Progress began releasing undercover investigative videos in the summer of 2015, public opinion about Planned Parenthood has started to change.
Abortion reforms have swept across America. Nearly two-dozen states have defunded Planned Parenthood or are considering doing so. Late term abortions are likewise being banned, and in 2017 alone over 20 abortion clinics around the country have been shut down.
In addition, eight in ten Americans agree that abortion should have real legal limits. Only about one in ten Americans support unrestricted abortion.
Today, an overwhelming number of young people are passionate and proactive about protecting the unborn!
However, abortion giants such as Planned Parenthood are still hard at work to fight against the pro-life generation. Cumberland County Board of Education deciding whether or not to implement a sexual education course authored by Planned Parenthood that features gender fluidity.
Please tell the school board NO to allowing Planned Parenthood a foothold in our schools! Our high school students must NOT be subjected to Planned Parenthood’s agenda!
So what exactly would this new curriculum emphasize? The “Get Real” curriculum emphasizes gender fluidity and sexual promiscuity. The message is that kids can have sex anytime with anyone they want. The curriculum is for middle school kids. Planned Parenthood is trying to teach 12-year-olds how to have “safe sex.”
Our high school students don’t need the “Get Real” curriculum. What they need is real, substantive teaching on sex and sexuality that represents the truth – that sex is a wonderful thing designed for the covenant of marriage and the creation of children.
The sexual liberal ethic says that anyone and everyone can have sex at anytime and that anyone who doesn’t freely engage in all sexual activities is somehow not fully living life. However, this view of sexuality makes sex devoid of all spiritual significance and value and turns it into a merely physical act. One that ends up leading to a lot of physical pain, heartache, and more abortions for Planned Parenthood.
We need to make sure that our children are learning the true meaning of sex and sexuality from us and our churches—not this twisted view from Planned Parenthood.
Every day, Planned Parenthood callously takes the lives of 300 unborn babies. Are those really the people we want inside our schools teaching our young people about sex?
