Nurses in California work to reverse the effects of the abortion pill!
Abortion advocates in America often try to claim that abortion is about choice. However, the very fact that abortion is legal means many women feel they have no choice but to abort. The culture tells women that if they choose motherhood or even just adoption, their lives will be over.
So as a result, many women rush to get abortions and as early as possible. Lots of women who rush to do this are given the abortion pill, which causes their bodies to abort their babies. After taking this pill, some of these women will realize within minutes or hours that they are killing their babies!
Fortunately, California Board of Registered Nursing is now offering training to nurses in how to reverse the effects of the abortion pill and save these vulnerable babies! Please sign this letter of appreciation to the California Board of Registered Nursing thanking them for working to make this life-saving medical treatment available.
The abortion pill, called RU-486, is a two-step process. Women who have only taken the first pill can seek medical help to reserve the effects of this deadly drug. Hundreds of women who take the first step of RU-486 realize what they are doing and want to reverse the effects in order to save their babies. As the Daily Signal reports, “Backed by a network of more than 350 medical providers, the Abortion Pill Reversal hotline—staffed with licensed medical professionals—answers over 50 calls per month from women who want to keep their baby after having started the chemical abortion pill process.”
“One mother who rescued her baby via Abortion Pill Reversal in 2013, Rebekah Buell, said she had to travel nearly two hours from her Sacramento-area home to visit a doctor who could help her. ‘Because of that physician and the progesterone he prescribed, my son, Zechariah, survived the abortion pill, and he is now a healthy and thriving 4-year-old who I cannot imagine life without.’”
In a world in which we constantly hear about those who are trying to promote and advance abortion, it is important to remember that there are many people who are working to protect mothers and babies by providing real care and options.
The tide of public opinion is changing. Eight in ten Americans agree that abortion should have real legal limits. Only about one in ten Americans support unrestricted abortion.
Since the Center for Medical Progress began releasing undercover videos exposing the abortion industry in the summer of 2015, abortion reforms have swept across America. Nearly two-dozen states have defunded Planned Parenthood or are considering doing so. Late term abortions are likewise being banned, and in 2017 alone over two dozen abortion clinics around the country have been shut down.
Let’s celebrate the news that the California Board of Registered Nursing is working to train nurses to reserve the devastating effects of this death-inducing drug. Through this important training, many new vulnerable lives will be saved.
