Google censoring pro-life websites!

Abortion is a grave evil in our society. It’s critical that we fight on all fronts to empower women and protect vulnerable, unborn babies. One of the best allies we have in our fight against abortion is information. The more the public knows about abortion, the fewer abortions will occur.

After all, since the Center for Medical Progress began releasing videos in the summer of 2015, abortion reforms have swept across America. Nearly two-dozen states have defunded Planned Parenthood or are considering doing so. Late term abortions are likewise being banned, and in 2017 alone over 20 abortion clinics around the country have been shut down.

The tide of public opinion is changing. Eight in ten Americans agree that abortion should have real legal limits. Only about one in ten Americans support unrestricted abortion.

That’s why it’s very important we make sure that the news continues to get out. However, it would appear that Google may have been censoring certain pro-life websites.

Please sign this petition to Google asking them to deal fairly with all websites regardless of political viewpoint and to refrain from censoring pro-life websites. It is important that major internet search engines like Google realize that we are watching to see if they are trying to hide the facts.

Here’s what happened to Operation Rescue recently. As Life News reported, the pro-life organization Operation Rescue believes that the Google search engine has been unfairly manipulating search parameters so that their abortion statistics appear in fewer Google searches.

Information is power and in the age of “Just Ask Google,” It is very important that Google presents all the facts and doesn’t try to hide some of them.

“Operation Rescue has discovered that Google’s search engine has manipulated search parameters to dramatically reduce exposure to a page containing important facts about abortion on the OperationRescue.org website.”

At the end of the day abortion statistics represent little boys and girls who never had the chance to grow up because they were conceived in a country that allows and even encourages young women to abort their children. This culture of abortion and death is changing – thanks to the proliferation of science-based evidence information. And the Internet is the best tool for that dissemination. And because private companies like Google control so much of the flow of information, it’s important for us to let them know that we will not tolerate any bias against pro-life data!

We must make sure that our most trusted search engines, such as Google, don’t try to hide the facts!

Censoring pro-life websites?

Dear Google,

It has come to our attention that you may have been censoring pro-life websites to prevent them from coming up in top Internet searches. In particular, it appears you have manipulated search parameters to dramatically reduce exposure to a page containing important facts about abortion on the OperationRescue.org website, as Life News reported.

We hope that you will strive towards equity and fairness in your practices by not censoring or disadvantaging viewpoints you disagree with. One of the benefits of the Internet is the ability to see and consider various viewpoints other than those of the mainstream.

As four-term Democratic U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan stated: “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.” Please be unbiased in how you promote various websites and allow all data with respect to abortion and other issues to be accessed by all Americans.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
