Every year, thousands of Catholic families enroll their children at Notre Dame in order to provide them with a faithful Catholic education. But too often, Notre Dame chooses to cooperate with evil and reject the very moral teachings it is supposed to impart to the students.
During the Obama administration, Notre Dame fought hard against being forced by the Obama administration to provide abortion-causing pills and contraception as part of it's healthcare package for students and employees. Notre Dame fought the abortifacient mandate in court, but lost, and was subsequently forced to cooperate with the grave evil of abortion.
Now, the Trump administration has offered the university the very exception it went to court to receive, and incredibly, the university is choosing to reject the Trump administration's helping hand only to continue to provide abortion pills and cooperate with abortion.
A letter by alumni attorneys of Notre Dame puts it best: "Notre Dame is now doing voluntarily precisely what it said it could not do in good conscience and without giving scandal, particularly to its students."
Contraception and abortion are the gateway to the culture of death. What kind of example is Notre Dame setting for its students by voluntarily continuing Obama's abortion mandates? Please sign this petition to be delivered to the President of Notre Dame demanding that the University end its voluntary cooperation with Obama's evil contraception and abortifacient mandate.

Why is the University of Notre Dame rejecting the Trump administration's offer to extend a religious liberty exception to the university health plans?
In litigation initiated by Notre Dame itself, the university asked the Obama administration for the very exception that is now being offered. In the litigation, Dr. John Affleck Graves, Executive Vice President of the university wrote eloquently that "The U.S. Government Mandate violates Notre Dame’s right of conscience by forcing it to participate in an employer – based scheme to provide insurance coverage to which it strenuously objects on moral and religious grounds."
Has Catholic moral teaching changed since President Obama was in office? Why is Notre Dame voluntarily continuing to provide abortion inducing drugs in its health plans after President Trump has offered it the option to stop cooperating with this grave evil?
Father Jenkins, please end Obama's Abortion Pill Mandate at Notre Dame immediately. Take President Trumps religious liberty exception and allow the University of Notre Dame to continue to be a "an academic institution in which Catholicism is vitally present and operative."
