South Australia: Protect the human rights of the unborn
A hideous bill to decriminalise abortion in South Australia is currently before Parliament.
Regressive MPs saying attempting to legitimize murder as simply “a medical procedure which should be treated like any other health issue."
Proponents of the bill seem to be rushing headlong into the bloodshed of more unborn lives in the name of political progress.
Countless unborn lives are at serious risk right now.
That’s why I am writing to ask for your urgent help today.
Under the proposed changes, an abortion can be performed by a medical practitioner up to 22 weeks and six days gestation. Thereafter, a medical practitioner can only perform an abortion if they consult with another doctors and if both agree to go ahead with the abortion.
Pregnant women across South Australia deserve so much better. Instead of pushing for more killing, MPs should be supporting pregnancy help counselling and better adoption services within the state.
To push for the decriminalisation of abortion sends a message to expectant mums and dads that it is okay to kill a living human being for any reason under the sun. Unwanted babies whether the result of poor choices or rape should not have to pay the price for someone else’s decisions.
So, it’s important that constituents like you speak up for those who have no voice!
There is no scientific, medical or other reason for babies of 22 weeks gestation to be denied the fundamental human right to life.
Regressive MPs such as Vickie Chapman should be deeply ashamed of their heartless and inhuman efforts to deprive unborn babies viable outside the womb of life.
MPs have been given the opportunity to participate in a conscience vote. Please call upon Premier Steven Marshall and his Liberal government especially to vote against this horrendous bill.
The lives of countless unborn babies are at stake here. Staying silent is consenting to their killing.
