ÚLTIMO MOMENTO (11 de enero): El juez Kelly ordenó al gobierno de Australia liberar al tenista Djokovic, aseguró que el tenista presentó todo lo solicitado para poder ingresar a Australia:
“Un profesor y un médico altamente calificado han presentado una exención médica. Además, esa exención médica y la base sobre la que se ha otorgado fueron determinadas por un panel independiente (...) ¿Qué más podría haber hecho este hombre (aludiendo a Djokovic)?”.
Sin embargo su futuro próximo aún es incierto, ya que el gobierno australiano aún tiene la facultad de cancelar el visado y están “considerando a fondo” la situación, según declaraciones del ministro de inmingración australiano, Alex Hawke.

It is clear that this debacle has nothing at all to do with COVID-19 vaccination, but about the impositions and pressures of a totalitarian government to which all of us will be subjected if we put up with this type of abuse. Novak is now the face of freedom and a great example of resilience despite great pressure!
We call upon the Australian government to quit the blame game, the virtue signalling and immediately release Novak to play at the Australian Open.
