The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is holding an emergency board meeting on June 11 to amend its flag policy to allow the Pride flag to be raised at schools.
We were alerted by this attempt by a local contact.
Schools should not promote ideologies, especially sexualized and perverse lifestyles.
This is especially true for Catholic schools when the LGBT lifestyle is directly at odds with Catholic teachings, beliefs, and values.
Catholic trustees are expected to champion, uphold, and promote Catholic values and beliefs throughout the Catholic, including the teachings that clearly state the beliefs found in The Bible:
"So God created mankind in his image; In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." - Genesis 1:27
The activist trustees have called this emergency meeting to ensure they can fly the LGBT "Pride" flags during "Pride" month.
Public schools should not be used for political engineering. The LGBT flags are designed to undermine traditional family values, all while supplanting our national flag, the red and white Maple Leaf.
Our publicly-funded classrooms should focus on core subjects and avoid promoting harmful ideologies.
Furthermore, our school board trustees are to ensure that our children learn the skills they need to succeed.
Allowing sexual and political ideologies to thrust themselves upon our children defeats the whole point of public education.
Schools were supposed to be a safe place for children to learn, grow, and discover who they truly are — a safe haven off the streets and from individuals desiring to use children to satisfy their perverse lifestyles.
In April, The DPCDSB decided to fly only government and Archdiocese-approved flags.
This proposed amendment, which will be presented at this emergency meeting, desires to virtue signal to the LGBT mob that their "values" and "beliefs" are more important than the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Finally, replacing national and provincial flags with LGBT flags sends the wrong message to children.
A message that tells them it is healthy to base their entire identity on one's sexual feelings and tendencies. The lie that how you sexually see yourself is the most critical aspect of your whole identity.
To tell children this LIE is to gaslight them from the TRUTH, the biological reality that there are only men and women.
As a Catholic school board, the DPCSDB should follow Christ's teachings, emphasizing that we are all made in God's image.
God doesn't make mistakes with our bodies.
The only mistake being made is anyone who believes his/her own self-centered and egotistical pride to justify sexually unhealthy lifestyles and deny the biological truth that we are either born a man or a woman, just as God has perfectly planned.

Reject the amendment to raise the Pride Flag
Dear DPCDSB Trustees,
I am writing to you as a concerned supporter of public Catholic education.
Raising the Pride flag would betray Catholic values and beliefs — the very values and beliefs that elected school board trustees at a Catholic school board are tasked to defend and promote throughout Catholic schools.
The LGBT lifestyle is directly at odds with Catholic teachings, beliefs, and values. The very values you, as elected trustees, are expected to champion, uphold, and promote.
Our publicly funded classrooms should focus on core subjects like Math, English, and Science while avoiding the promotion of harmful ideologies.
Allowing sexual and political ideologies to be imposed on our children defeats the purpose of public education. Schools were supposed to be safe places for children to learn and grow, not venues for political agendas or where children are exploited for political gain.
The proposed amendment to the board's flag policy aims to signal to the LGBT+ community that their "values" and "beliefs" should replace the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Replacing national and provincial flags with LGBT flags sends the wrong message to our children and supporters of Catholic education.
It sends the message that the "religion" of made-up sexualities is more important than teaching children the skills they need to be successful in life. It also states Catholic values and beliefs do not matter in Catholic schools.
Raising the Pride flag is to fully submit to the LGBT ideology's values and beliefs and abandon the Catholic faith.
As a Catholic school board, the DPCDSB must follow The Church's teachings, emphasizing that we are all made in God's image. Catholic education must teach that sin is to be avoided at all costs. This includes denouncing one of the most deadly of all sins: pride.
I urge you to take action and defend Catholic values.
Do not allow political ideology flags, including the Pride Flag, to be raised on school grounds.
Stand firm in promoting the teachings of the Catholic Church, protect our children from harmful ideologies, and teach them to avoid the deadly sin of pride.
