Stop Naked Drag Marches In Front of Children
Recent Pride parades across Canada and the United States have included rampant nudity, with some parades featuring naked men in front of children.
We are deeply concerned about this inappropriate behavior and are calling on Toronto Mayor, Olivia Chow, to take immediate action to stop these naked Pride parades.
We urge everyone to sign our petition demanding that the mayor of Toronto puts an end to these parades and protect our children from indecent exposure.

We are deeply disturbed by the rampant nudity that has been displayed in front of children, including recent parades in Toronto and Seattle where men went fully naked in front of young onlookers.
This is unacceptable! We are now witnessing an all-out assault against children’s innocence.
Furthermore, this naked exposure in front of children is a direct violation of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
Section 173 of the CCC states that:
Every person who, in any place, for a sexual purpose, exposes his or her genital organs to a person who is under the age of 16 years
-
(a) is guilty of an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years and to a minimum punishment of imprisonment for a term of 90 days; or
-
(b) is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction and is liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than six months and to a minimum punishment of imprisonment for a term of 30 days.
These Pride marches come not only at the expense of exposing children to indecent and inappropriate behavior but also violate Canada's public indecency laws. We are calling on Toronto Mayor, Olivia Chow, to take immediate action and put an end to these naked Pride parades.
It is unacceptable that Olivia Chow supported these parades and failed to acknowledge the indecent exposure that has taken place.
We cannot allow this behavior to continue, and we need your help to make sure that our voices are heard.

Dear Mayor Olivia Chow,
We are writing to you today with a sense of urgency regarding the recent Pride parades that have taken place in Toronto. We are deeply troubled by the rampant nudity that has been displayed in front of children at these events, and we believe that action must be taken to put an end to this.
As the mayor of Toronto, we are calling on you to take immediate action and end these naked Pride parades. We are also alarmed that the individuals who participate naked are violating section 173 of the Criminal Code of Canada, which states that "every person who, in any place, for a sexual purpose, exposes his or her genital organs to a person who is under the age of 16 years:
(a) is guilty of an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years and to a minimum punishment of imprisonment for a term of 90 days; or
(b) is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction and is liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than six months and to a minimum punishment of imprisonment for a term of 30 days."
As Pride events specifically celebrate one's sexual identity, it becomes clear that anyone who goes naked at these events deliberately breaks section 173 by exposing their genital organs to children under the age of 16.
It is unacceptable that these parades have been allowed to continue, especially when sexual genitalia is on full display in front of children, and we urge you to take a stand for our community, uphold the Criminal Code of Canada, and protect our children from indecent exposure within the City of Toronto.
