STOP UK AID MONEY FOR ABORTIONS IN AFRICA
STOP UK AID MONEY FOR ABORTIONS IN AFRICA
The UK Government admitted that between 2016 and 2020 they had allocated £256 million to Marie Stopes International (MSI), and £96 million to International Planned Parenthood Foundation (IPPF), both infamous abortion giants. IPPF was given £132 million from the aid budget when investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct and corruption at the abortion giant were ongoing. In 2016, the Care Quality Commission inspectors found conditions at Marie Stopes clinics in the UK so bad it was forced to suspend abortion services. In Africa, the Governments of Kenya, Niger and Zambia have taken action against Marie Stopes for performing illegal abortions. Despite all this, Marie Stopes’ annual reports show that the UK is one of the organisation’s biggest donors.
The latest polling, completed by Comres, revealed that 65% of British people objected to public money funding abortions overseas.
Western nations and NGOs have a shameful history of abortion imperialism, pushing abortion on developing nations in recent years under the guise of so-called ‘essential’ healthcare.
At a time when the world is reeling from disease and war, such funding that serves only to destroy more innocent lives is wholly out of touch with public sentiment.
