EU Commission Must give an opt-out for LGBT indoctrination training
No Obligatory LGBT Indoctrination Program for EU Commission Staff
No Obligatory LGBT Indoctrination Program for EU Commission Staff

The EU Commission has just published a new Charter on "Diversity and Inclusion".
The press release, accompanying the Charter, states that four groups of staff and managers, working for the EU, will receive preferential treatment, including women, the disabled, older members of staff, and the LGBT community.
But, only the LGBT staff are able to command, "awareness activities and trainings for managers and staff, in particular, to address any unconscious bias".
That is, no other segment of the working population of the EU Commission, which numbers 33,000, has its own indoctrination program which will be forced on every other member of staff.
This kind of special treatment has no place in the EU Commission.
Other staff members and managers should not be forced to endure "diversity" training days, which apply to one group of people, alone - it is self-evident that that type of "training" is not at all about diversity, but, rather, about indoctrination.
If EU Commission staff and managers are not able to treat everyone they come into contact with, with respect and professional courtesy, those individuals should certainly be reprimanded.
Perhaps, in that regard, every staff member and manager ought to take a mandatory course on ethical conduct in government.
But, LGBT indoctrination programs, like the one which has been mooted, are both an affront to the taxpayer, who must pay for social propaganda and engineering, and also to the staff and managers, themselves, whose freedom of conscience and, possibly, freedom of religion may be unjustly limited.
Therefore, with these things in mind, this petition - which is directed to EU Commissioner for Budget & Human Resources, Mr Günther H. Oettinger and to the EU Ombudsman Head of Communications, Ms Gundi Gadesmann - insists that no such LGBT "training" program ever be obligatory for EU Commission staff and management.
If the EU Commission is actually committed to "diversity", then it should respect the beliefs and opinions of many of its own staff who vehemently disagree with it on this matter, and with the EU taxpayer who, likewise, has serious objections to this type of government program.
