OkCupid's DTF campaign must go!
OkCupid’s “DTF” advertising campaign promotes lesbian sex, prostitution, drug use, and promiscuity, and it will be viewed by millions, including children, in public spaces. Click "Sign" to join our petition asking that OkCupid's "DTF" advertisements be removed immediately.
OkCupid is an American-based international dating app and website. This Valentine’s Day season, OkCupid is using their public advertising budget to separate itself from other dating apps. OkCupid is flaunting its desire to be known as the "casual sex" hook up resource.
DTF is an acronym which MTV’s Jersey Shore made well known, meaning "Down to F*ck." (Please excuse the language).
Last week, these billboards shocked parents around Austin, Texas. Now, billboards and advertisements are popping up in Portland, Oregon, and expanding.
The most recent and most offensive ads are popping up in Portland, Oregon. You can find several different ads posted on or around the TriMet, their metro system, which includes bus lines, light rail, and commuter rail systems.
Portland's City Council banned one advertisement as a billboard, but it remains up as an advertisement in the TriMet. As OkCupid's "DTF" advertisement campaign grows throughout the country, please ask TriMet make a statement against OkCupid’s distasteful and sexually explicit ads. This statement will help set a precedent. Sign now!
