“Choose Life” license plates are a reality in Wisconsin!
Sometimes, through the way the media represents the abortion debate, it can seem that pro-life advocates are in the minority. However, in reality, there is consensus among Americans that abortion must be limited. Eight in ten Americans agree that abortion should have real legal limits. Only about one in ten Americans support unrestricted abortion.
It’s clear that pro-life Americans are in the majority. Let’s fight back against the perception that we are in the minority by vocally proclaiming our position.
Due to the hard work of pro-life advocates in Wisconsin, drivers can now do that with their license plates. The Wisconsin Family Council and Pro-Life Wisconsin have been working for 10 years give drivers the ability to proclaim their love of life officially on their cars. The Department of Transportation has announced that the “Choose Life” license plates are now available to Wisconsin drivers! These plates will also help raise money to support life! These funds will go to support the vital work of crisis pregnancy centers across the state.
Wisconsin drivers aren’t alone in their ability to proclaim their love for the unborn. In fact, 30 other states and the District of Columbia allow drivers to purchase “Choose Life” plates. These plates have raised 20 million dollars to support babies born out of unplanned pregnancies. These license plates are simple and respectful. Those who are argue that they are offensive, believe that anyone who believes in protecting life in the womb is offensive. The view that supports life might be offensive to the radical left, but it is mainstream in real America.
In many ways, the pro-abortion lobby has been effective at making pro-life Americans feel isolated.
But, the reality is that majority of Americans believe that abortion should be restricted. We are part of the pro-life generation and now have the ability to proclaim that through our license plates.
