On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court made the historic decision in the Dobbs vs Jackson Women's Health Organization case to overturn Roe vs Wade, declaring that, "procuring an abortion is not a fundamental constitutional right, ... The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives."  (www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/19-1392_6j37.pdf)

It should come as no surprise that with this victory, there comes a tremendous backlash from the left, the Democrats, and pro-abortion activists.  As more and more states have been implementing stronger abortion restrictions, those opposed to life are scrambling to find "solutions" to increase access to abortions.  One such solution is a letter written by 83 Congressional Democrats urging President Biden and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Beccara, to declare access to abortion a public health emergency under the Stafford Act.  We cannot allow this to happen.

We have been fighting for life for 50 years and with this victory it is not time to become complacent or let our guard down.  Those that are opposing us are not going to rest, this step to try to have access to abortion through public health emergency is proof that the fight is really just beginning.

I urge you to sign the petition to President Biden, Xavier Beccara, and the House Leadership, letting your voice be heard that this attempt at circumventing the Supreme Court's ruling is unacceptable and that you stand on the side of life.

No More Emergency Declarations

President Biden, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, and House Leadership

News has broken that the President is considering using the public health emergency under the Stafford Act in order to circumvent the Supreme Court's recent ruling that overturned Roe vs Wade.  This is an attempt to make abortions more accessible in States that have started to implement laws that protect the life of the unborn.

Those of us fighting to protect the lives of the most vulnerable for the past 50 years are able to celebrate the Supreme Court's recent decision, but we must not be complacent.  This battle is not over and this latest attempt by those opposed to us is proof that more than ever we need to stand up for the rights of the unborn.

Sign this petition to let the President, Xavier Becerra and the House leadership know that use of the public health emergency to provide access to abortions is not acceptable.
