A large number of Pakistani Christian fled from Pakistan because of persecution to Thailand and apply asylum request in UNHCR Thailand , reason for chosing Thailand as asylum country because it was easiest way for us to reach Thailand , unfortunately Thailand is not signatory to Geneva convention 1951 and its protocol 1967 therefore there is no law for asylum seeker and refugees , Thailand Unhcr is giving long date for final interviews it takes 4 to 5 years , Because Thailand is not signatory to Geneva convention 1951 Thai government doesn't give value to asylum certificate and 99 % Pakistani Christian who are asylum seekers in Thailand is without visa so they are arresting them and sending them to IMMIGRATION DETENTION CENTER which is hell on earth , UNHCR protection cell can only help them from deport back to Pakistan as they said , these days hundreds of Pakistani been arrested by Thai authorities woman’s , men’s even kids also please help your Christian brother and sister they are not criminals they are asylum seekers , in Pakistan Christians suffer a lot because of its faith we found UNHCR as option and hope so we fled from Pakistan but now unnecessary delaying in cases and imprisonment fear is not less than any persecution in Thailand please help us stand with us
