Our culture has become increasing hostile to Christians who sincerely practice their faith. Tragically, groups all over the country are trying to bully Christians out of the public sphere. As we recently reported, in Washington State the Satanic Temple is attempting to eliminate “Good News” after school Bible study clubs from elementary schools.

Unfortunately, this movement to ban Jesus from the public sphere has come to Wisconsin.

Wisconsin State Representative Paul Tittl is being bullied by the Freedom from Religion foundation to stop hosting voluntary Bible studies in his office. As an American, Tittl has every legal right to host voluntary Bible studies in his office. Please join us in sending a strong letter of support to Tittl! We must thank him for his faithfulness to study the Bible with his colleagues and encourage him to remain steadfast in his resolve.

Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-founder of the Freedom from Religion Foundation, sent a letter to Tittl stating, “Please stop hosting bible studies in your office and instead concentrate on state business," Gaylor wrote. "Our message to pious politicians is: Get off your knees and get to work. The answers will not come from above. Nothing fails like prayer."

Our message to Representative Tittl is the opposite! Every good and perfect gift is from above (James 1)! As Christians, our greatest weapon against the evil in our world is prayer and the study of the word of God. We should encourage and support our elected representatives to seek first the Kingdom of God.

Representative Tittl knows this! "Faith is a huge part of my life," Tittl said. "It doesn't stop because I come to the state Capitol." Tittl has been faithfully leading these Bible studies since he was sworn into office in 2013.

Let’s encourage Representative Tittl to continue in this critically important work!

We support you!

Dear Representative Tittl,

I recently learned how you have been pressured by the Freedom from Religion Foundation to stop hosting voluntary Bible studies at your office. Thank you for holding firm against this pressure and remaining faithful in your commitment to the word of God!

As an American, you have every legal right to host voluntary Bible studies in your office.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation told you to “get off your knees and get to work. The answers will not come from above. Nothing fails like prayer."

We believe the opposite! Every good and perfect gift is from above (James 1)! As Christians, our greatest weapon against the evil in our world is prayer and the study of the word of God.

We thank you for being a statesman who seeks first the Kingdom of God! We are so encouraged by your example and hope you will continue hosting these Bibles studies as long as you are in office…and beyond!
