Parents and students at Bartlett City Schools in Tennessee need our support as school officials shut down the Bible Club for first and second grade students.

The decision came after the Wisconsin based radical atheist group, Freedom From Religion Foundation, bullied school administrators in Bartlett, Tennessee within wrote a letter they wrote demonizing the club as "unconstitutional."

Please sign our petition to administrators at Bartlett School District asking that they work with parents to reinstate Bible Club.

In a recent Gallup poll, 61% of Americans support daily prayer in school. And, 77 percent said they think public school facilities should be made available for student religious groups to use after school.

Activities like reading the bible together and prayer brings students together and serves as an opportunity to help guide students to make the right decisions, and better choices throughout the school year.

We are encouraging school administrators to work with parents to reinstate Bible Club for the remainder of the year and for many years to come.

Parents are upset with the school’s decision to close the club. Throughout the school year, grade schoolers at Altruria Elementary School would meet before school to read the bible.

This drew outrage from the atheist group who opposes Christianity in schools.

The group Freedom From Religion Foundation issued the following statement:

“FFRF is pleased to learn that Bartlett City Schools has taken appropriate action to disband an unconstitutional religious club, which was really just religious instruction by public school officials. This development is a victory not only for reason and the law but for the inviolable right of a captive audience of first and second-grade students to be free from indoctrination in a public school setting.”

It should be noted while FFRF supports Satanism in schools throughout the country.

Please sign our petition to Bartlett School District.

I SUPPORT BIBLE CLUB

Jeff Norris, Chairman; Bryan Woodruff, Vice-Chairman; Erin Berry, Board Member; David Cook, Board Member; and Shirley Jackson, Board Member:

I am writing to you in support of the first and second grade students at Altruria Elementary School who would like to participate in Bible Club.

The Bible Club for first and second grade students was recently cancelled after receiving a threatening letter from a politically motivated outside organization.

There is nothing unconstitutional about Bible Club. It is an elective group, held before school, supervised by a teacher. You are sending the wrong message to parents, students, and your community.

Please reinstate the 1-2 Bible Club for the remainder of the year and if parents and students elect for many years to come.
