The government has canceled a private event simply because they disagree with the organizer's pro-life views. This directly attacks freedom of expression, and we must act before it's too late.
Recently, the Official Opposition in Montreal announced that it was working to rename a park in honour of Dr. Henry Morgentaler for his fight for the so-called “right to abortion.” A project has been submitted to this effect with the municipality and is currently under study.
We oppose this project for the following reasons:
